Two weeks ago, our Year 6 pupils visited the art exhibition, ‘Mariner: a painted ship upon a painted ocean’, at Plymouth University.

Children were inspired by the variety of works of art, which were very different to the pieces they had seen at the KARST studio, the previous week.

Following this, Year 6 began to design their pieces ready for their exhibition at, ‘The Clipper’, on Monday 16th December. They already have some thoughtful ideas around ‘What community means to me’ in art form.
To make the most of opportunities in our area, we plan to take our students up to Plymouth College of Art and design to see the upcoming exhibition, ‘Torsten Lauschmann-War of the corners’, on Tuesday 10th December.
