The Y7 students made a foot-journey to France, which began at the school doors. Travelling on the overnight ferry, students arrived in time to order their breakfast from the range of cafes in Roscoff, applying the French they had learned in school to a genuinely real experience. The day was then spent speaking to shop keepers and market traders on their quest for the ‘Golden Rust’; a special ingredient to add to their bouillabaisse recipe when they returned.
Quote from Alex, “It’s strange, I now feel like I can remember it all, I feel like an actual Frenchman!”
