Here at Plymouth Academy of Creative Arts Preschool, we offer spaces for children from their third birthday.
Keeping to the whole school purpose of Creative Learning, Social Justice, we work with our families and community to provide a setting suitable for the individual child. This also supports transition into the school in reception, so rather than starting school you are moving next door!
We are able to accept 15 or 30 hour Universal/Childcare funding from the term after their third birthday. Before this parents and carers are able to pay for the sessions if they wish. Unfortunately, we are not able to accept Me2Funding.

The Preschool is very much a part of Plymouth Academy of Creative Arts and we work as part of a greater team to offer enriched and engaged learning for all children from singing songs with the residents at Nazareth House Plymouth www.sistersofnazareth.com, to providing placement to the BTEC Childcare students at the school. The Preschool love to be out and about and have trips to West Hoe Park, Mount Edgcumbe, Wembury, Dartmoor Zoo and the Theatre Royal to name just a few.
Every morning we open up the Preschool for families to connect with space, learning and teaching team through “Play to Connect”
With links to the greater school we are able to offer childcare from 7:45 until 18:00 the Preschool 15 hours Universal sessions can be selected by the family subject to availability AM 8:50 – 11:50 and PM 12:20 – 15:20 Full days and extended days are available with an additional fee.
