Plymouth Art Weekender and The Big Water Colour:
Celebrating Plymouth as a hub of creativity is the Plymouth Art Weekender
Taking place on the 25, 26 and 27 September – it will host a variety of exhibitions and public art events taking place around the city, from street parties, skateboarding and rock drummers to alternative beauty pageants, artist talks and exhibitions.
Plymouth School Of Creative Arts is hosting a number of activities and exhibits throughout the weekend,
All events are free.
Our challenge is to create a 10 x 5 meter collaborative painting. We have joined with Plymouth College of Art and Plymouth Watercolour Society for The Big Watercolour project. Exploring the medium of watercolour and inviting responses from the city with the theme of Plymouth, it culminates in a multi-generational event open to the public on Saturday 26 September 2015, 10am-4pm. We would love you to come and join us for all or part of the day – this is open to anyone and is free.
