At Plymouth School of Creative Arts community and partnership add so much into the school experience. We believe that Community is central to the success of our project. The School has spent since February 2015 in the Red House. Since opening we have expanded from 94 students on day 1 to 950 in September 2017. We have much to be proud of in relation to our community approach and school. This includes:
- We have a vibrant community that models possibility to our students, particularly through the continuum approach with the College of Art
- The Red House is shared with other community groups which reflects the diversity and strength of our community and partnerships
- The school, the continuum and the building have been recognised locally, nationally and internationally
- We have developed a strong approach to income generation linked to ongoing partnership
There is further opportunity to expand our community offer. We have a clear vision for future developments including the development of a community interest company to facilitate our wider community aspirations.
