During the Easter break, the PSCA MTB Club held a fundraising event, with a difference! The evening kicked off with entrants making timed laps of the first floor, using the club’s smallest kids mountain bikes. Having paid their £5 entry fee, racers had to follow the taped course and complete it in the shortest time possible, which led to some hilarious moments. The winners were then presented with some great prizes, very generously donated by Certini and Silverfish, two local bike companies.

Action then moved to the theatre, where patrons were treated to a big-screen showing of Gamble, a British mountain bike movie, kindly given to us licence free by Creative Concepts Media. Food was provided by Jake, from the kitchen team, and was enjoyed by all, fuelling some high-speed racing, and the occasional crash (no humans or animals were harmed in the course of this event!)!

If you think it looks like fun, keep your eyes peeled for the next event, with a different course to keep things interesting, sometime around October. We’d love to see you there!
