Student from Plymouth School of Creative Arts selected to exhibit their work at Origins Creative Arts Festival in London this month
Riley, age 16 has been selected to exhibit their work at Origins Creative Arts Festival taking place at the Truman Brewery in July. Riley has completed the L2 Creative Media Production Technology course at Plymouth School of Creative Arts and is progressing to Plymouth College of Art to undertake L3 Graphics Illustration and Game Arts.
Riley whose submission titled This is Home explores gender and the emotions associated with transitioning. Riley’s animatic music video is a substantial project for a Level 2 student to accomplish and it caught the attention of UAL Awarding Body’s curators who had received over 360 submissions for the festival.

Origins Creative Arts Festival is organised by Awarding Organisation UAL Awarding Body and provides art lovers, critics, industry professionals from the creative sector, the chance to meet original 14-18 creative talent from across the UK.
Origins Creative Arts Festival A free festival showcasing creative works in fashion, performing arts and music to sculpture, fine art and creative media from some of the UK’s most talented students at schools and FE institutions taking pre-degree creative arts subjects.
Origins promises a unique first look at these as-yet-unseen future stars of the creative scene. Open to the public and expected to attract thousands of visitors over the three days, with entertainment on site, the programme includes an awards event to select the top work across each subject area, guest speakers, and performance tie-ins with Barbican Box

The private view will be taking place on 25 July, 6pm – 9pm
