Students from Plymouth School of Creative Arts recently enjoyed visiting the Plymouth College of Art graduate showcase, exploring exhibits ranging from glass and metal work to computer gaming. This film features our students interviewing student of the year Luke Axworthy award winning metal smith designer and instructor.

During the PCA summer showcase the science and computing students were immersing themselves in real life Science and Computing. The PCA student’s were presenting their work in an interactive manner allowing students to experience their final year project work. In computing this involved students experiencing what real-life-computing could look like in the form of computer programming (virtual reality), graphic design and game design. The jewellery making showcase gave students a hook for studio work by seeing how science is used in every day applications; the colouring of the earrings to the soldering of the necklaces.
