The School had a careers fair. We wanted to know how people become successful across a range of careers. The day started with a briefing to look at the question, “what does it mean to be successful?” Matt, a teacher here, talked about his endurance running and then we focused the vast amount of the day on success through a range of interactive activities.

Soon after lunch, we went into another briefing. In this briefing we met John who told us about his life story about being a professional footballer through to working at PSCA.

In the careers fair we had a range of people to see and meet, I chose to see the two friendly musicians, a nice build designer and an amazing apprentice for submarine engineering. Through all these wonderful people, I learned that it is really important to enjoy what you do.

Over all, I really enjoyed this day and I would be happy to do it again.
