Each week, as part of the tutor programme, the students are able to see their current attendance percentage through an attendance tracker. This is recorded in their student planners each week and gives the students ownership over their school attendance. Alongside showing the attendance percentage, the tracker shows a green arrow, a red arrow or a yellow arrow to show if the students attendance has improved, gone down or is consistent for that week.
On the last week before half term, Alex’s tutor showed green arrows for their attendance, meaning everyones attendance had improved that week.
To celebrate this achievement Alex’s tutor were rewarded with breakfast during tutor time. This consisted of fruit, bacon or Quorn sausage sandwiches, hash browns and fruit juice.
Great work ABo tutor group!
