Monday evening saw young people and students from across the city gather to experience ‘The Silence’ a PSCA student organised performance event, which saw live music combine with a Silent Disco. The Project was supported by The Big Music Project and UK Youth. A dedicated team of Phase Four students were responsible for organising the whole event ranging from promotions, A&R, budgeting, performing and managing the event itself.

Project Lead, and PSCA staff member Dan said “I would like to say a huge thanks to all the students and staff who made this event a massive success. The team of students worked so hard to make this event successful and have received fantastic feedback. We are already looking forward to our next event! I would like to also say a special thanks to Olly and Lee at Deep Blue Sound, Sara at Silent Disco Mania and Mel and Tamar from the PTFA for all of their support!”

As part of the project students have had some amazing opportunities, including some trips to London. One of these included a visit to The Ministry of Sound, where they were able to participate in a CV writing workshop with Warner Music and Radio Presenter workshops with capital FM.
