On Friday a group of year 10 GCSE science students visited the Marine Biological Association. ‘Being the Marine Biologist‘ for the day involved carrying out various practical investigation including the propagation of DNA, identifying Microscopic marine organisms and species identification in Plymouth sound. The students also had the opportunity to view some 200 year old books, with prints better than most HD printer could accomplish in the 21st century, truly showing how the arts and science are so complimentary. The school would like to thank the MBA for the hospitality today and look forward to visiting again next year.
